Jake had to work some calves the other day, and though it was probably the coldest day of the year so far, the boys had a blast. I’m not sure how much help we were, but in Grady’s mind he was the best hired hand money could buy. Lucky for me he works cheap!

Grady’s job was to push the calves up the alley, and he didn’t miss a beat. I watched him with thankful heart, and then I watched Jake’s face beam with pride.

There was a lot of strategic planning going on.

This cowboy was full of joy!

Their favorite part of the day was getting to ride Odie. This horse is worth his weight in Gold and him and Grady have a mutual love of going slow! 😉
